The Christian Men’s Retreat is designed to help men experience a more satisfying spiritual life. This special weekend is planned by concerned Christian laymen in Northern California who share the vision of encouraging Christian men to be strong for and in the Lord Jesus.
Statement of Purpose
The Christian Men's Retreat (CMR) was founded in 1987 for the purpose of giving men the opportunity to fellowship together, to listen to dedicated Christian speakers, and to establish a closer relationship with Jesus.
Our Special Guest for 2009
Leslie Pollard
Leslie Pollard currently serves as vice chancellor and vice president for Loma Linda University. He is responsible for leadership education and community outreach for Loma Linda University, Loma Linda University Medical Center, and the 44 corporations of Loma Linda.
Dr. Pollard started his career 30 years ago as a pastor for Breath of Life and Oakwood College, and eventually expanded his work to become an international leadership trainer and teacher around the world. His ministry has introduced thousands of people to Jesus Christ.
In 1992, he received the Doctor of Ministry degree in preaching and worship from Claremont School of Theology, and in 2007, he received a PhD in New Testament Language and Literature from Andrews University.
He recently authored the definitive text Embracing Diversity: How to Understand and Reach People of All Cultures and has written numerous journal articles.
Dr. Pollard is happily married to his wife Prudence, and they have two daughters, Kristin and Karin.

Cost
The food and lodging registration fee includes two nights' lodging and five meals.
Accommodations
Cabins:
Each cabin sleeps eight persons. No bedding or linens supplied. Bathroom facilities in each cabin.
Dormitory Rooms:
There are two large dormitory rooms with bunk beds in the Meadow Lodge. No bedding or linens are supplied. Each room accommodates approximately 50 people, with adequate showers available. Dormitory rooms will be reserved for large church groups and cabin overflow.
Lodge Rooms:
Seventy lodge rooms are available with two twin beds or two double beds. Bedding and linens are supplied.
RVs:
Electric hook-ups are available. Rest rooms with showers are nearby.
Children:
Absolutely no children.
This retreat is for men 18 or older.
Leoni Meadows Camp Policies
Pets are not allowed. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not permitted on the premises. All meals are vegetarian (dairy products are served). No caffeine drinks are available.
What to Bring
Sleeping bag/bedding, pillow, towels, soap (except for lodge). Flashlight, warm and comfortable clothes, jacket, walking shoes, Bible, notebook, pencil or pen, camera, etc.
